The Way of the Horde - Side quest
The next chapter contains a detailed description of the gameplay in the locations of the Scarlet Choir Camp (M3) and the Remote Settlement (M6) related to the quest "The Way of the Horde". Here you will find everything you need to complete the mentioned side quest.

To begin the quest
"The Way of the Horde" is a side quest that is not directly related to the history of the Decrees of Kyros. To launch it, you must go to the Scarlet Choir Camp. Once outside the walls, you must find the Death Knell (M3) near the main square of the camp. During the conversation, bring up the topic of the number of recruits who replenish the armies of this faction. Then you will be asked to help the settlers from a remote settlement. The result of this quest will affect the reputation of the Scarlet Choir group.
After you accept the quest, a new location will appear on the map of the well of Vendrien - a remote settlement. You can get there from anywhere in the area. Depending on the amount of time left before the Day of Swords, you can go there immediately or wait with the quest until you complete all the actions related to the "Taking the Outer Valley" quest. As soon as you are ready, go to the place.
The ambush
After you arrive at the location, you will be presented with the view shown in the screenshot above. The village seems to be abandoned, but as soon as you approach the building, you will see a dialog screen informing you that you are being watched. There will be several options to choose from in the conversation window, but none of them will affect the reputation in any way, and they will all end with the same result.
In the end, it turns out that you were ambushed by the Vendrian Guards. A group of four rebels will appear immediately and you will have to fight them. These aren't the strongest enemies you've encountered, but depending on when you decide to complete this quest, they can still pose a threat. Focus on destroying the enemy mage and send one of your characters to the top of the nearest building to face the enemy archer in hand-to-hand combat. Use an active pause and control the fight, and you can come out victorious.
After the end of the battle, a group of Scarlet Choir soldiers will appear in the location. One of the band members will start mocking you and thank you for your help. You can talk to her briefly, but the result will always be the same - she will direct you to the Death Knell. Best porn
